This Avocado Cottage Cheese Wrap is my version of the viral TikTok cottage cheese flatbread recipe. It’s gluten-free, low-carb, and high in protein. But unlike my 2 ingredient cottage cheese flatbread pizza, this is heartier, with a stronger structure thanks to creamy avocado.

I’m so excited to bring you guys another version of the viral cottage cheese flatbread! it’s a cross between the viral 3 Ingredient Avocado Bread and cottage cheese flatbread!

Why you'll love this high-protein avocado and cottage cheese wrap

Easy to make  Simply blend and bake!

Just 3 ingredients You just need the cottage cheese, eggs, and avocado for this to work but adding seasonings will give it more flavor so I would highly recommend it. Feel free to season with what you have in your spice cabinet.

Healthy Fat The addition of the avocado lends this recipe more structure and healthy fat content. Making it more satiating.

High protein  Both cottage cheese and eggs make this high in protein.

A great alternative to refined and high-carb gluten-free wraps. Many gluten-free wraps and breads available in the market are made from refined, high-carb ingredients like rice flour, potato starch, and tapioca flour.

The ingredients

Cottage cheese I used the Good Culture brand. If you use any other brand, make sure to strain out the water.

Eggs Some recipes use just the egg whites but I have whole eggs in mine. I have not tried it without the yolks but I am guessing it would be lighter and break easily.

Avocado Just half a medium-sized avocado will do.

Seasonings I used garlic and onion powder called for in the original recipe.

How to make it

Preheat the oven Set your oven to 350ºF/177ºC and while it preheats, start on the blended cottage cheese and avocado.

Topping ideas

There are so many different toppings and the options are endless! In the picture below I stuck to a vegetarian variation. I spread some mayonnaise and then topped it off with tomatoes, sliced avocado, red onions, and chili oil. So good!

Below are some more ideas:

  • Smoked salmon and cream cheese Spread some cream cheese or vegan cream cheese and add some smoked salmon slices, red onions, and tomatoes.
  • Tuna wrap Make my tuna spread and use that as a filling.
  • Chicken wrap Use my recipe for chicken spread and add some romaine lettuce and tomatoes to it.

FAQ’s

Can I make cottage cheese wraps in advance?

Yes! You can make these in advance and refrigerate them. Just make sure to keep wraps separated with parchment paper as they may stick together and leave the fillings till ready to eat as this may lead to a soggy wrap.

How do I prevent the cottage cheese wrap from sticking to the parchment paper?

Spray or coat the parchment paper with cooking oil. In my video, I didn’t do it as my parchment is the non-stick type. Also, wait for the wrap to cool down for easy release from the parchment.

Can I freeze avocado cottage cheese wrap?

Yes absolutely! Make sure to separate the wraps with parchment and store them in a sealed zip-top bag. Let defrost on the counter and heat before eating.
