This green smoothie should be a regular for all women! It boasts immune boosting nutrients and a powerful dose of calcium which is so necessary for bone health!
In a blender add the kale and almond milk and blend till smooth.
Add the banana, flax meal, and spirulina , and blend till everything is fully incorporated. * See note.
Lastly, add ice and honey and give it one last blitz. Serve immedietly.
Notes
I usually chop ripe bananas, freeze them in plastic bags, and toss them into smoothies or shakes. This gives a creamier consistency to the smoothie/ shake
