Ingredients
1tablespoonghee
2cardamom podsseeds removed and crushed
1cupalmond flour
1/2cupcoconut sugar
1cupwater
Garnish
rose petals
pistachios
walnuts
Instructions
In a saucepan heat the ghee. Add the crushed cardamom seeds and stir for about 30 seconds. Add the almond flour and stir for about 1-2 minutes so that it gets toasted.
Next add the coconut sugar and stir to combine. Add water and stir continuously till the water dries out. About 3-4 minutes.
You will be left with a thick paste which means your halwa is ready! Garnish with the nuts and rose petals and enjoy!

Using blanched, super fine almond flour is key if you want that sooji ka halwa look and taste.
The coconut sugar can be swapped with raw cane sugar if you prefer the lighter look of traditional Sooji ka Halwa
