Basic Green Smoothie
This green smoothie should be a regular for all women! It boasts immune boosting nutrients and a powerful dose of calcium which is so necessary for bone health!

- 2 cup kale stems removed
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 banana frozen
- 1 tsp flax meal
- 1 tsp spirulina powder
- 1/2 tsp honey
- ice
In a blender add the kale and almond milk
Blend till smooth
Add the banana, flax meal and spirulina and blend some more. I usually chop up ripe banana and freeze in plastic bags and toss it into smoothies or shakes. This gives a creamier consistency to the smoothie/ shake
Lastly, add ice and honey and give it one last whirl.
